Val de Loire

The Loire Valley is one of France's great axes of freshness and clarity. From Muscadet to the hillsides of Sancerre, passing through Saumur, Chinon, Anjou or Touraine, the region offers a complete interpretation of terroir wines: ocean, tuffeau, schist, flint, limestone, clay, sand and gravel compose a mosaic of great richness.

Melon de Bourgogne, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Pineau d'Aunis grapes yield remarkably precise wines when patiently crafted. The whites can be saline, dry, full-bodied, or taut; the reds benefit from remaining infused, floral, peppery, and possessing a delicate texture. Loire sparkling wines, when properly aged, offer exceptional depth.

Vignerons de Nature favors estates that retain this Loire Valley essence: freshness, digestibility, tension, the energy of the soil, and the ability to complement food. It is often the ideal region to enter the world of natural wines, because it combines accessibility, precision, and diversity without compromising on quality.
