Vins étrangers

The foreign wines in the selection are not there to be exotic. They open our eyes to other ways of reading a soil, a climate and a grape variety, with the same requirement as for French estates: consistent agriculture, sincere winemaking, measured use of inputs, restrained aging and a clear identity in the glass.

Italy, Spain, Central Europe or other artisan vineyards allow us to measure what changes when the landscape changes: Nebbiolo on Piedmontese hillsides, macerated whites, high-altitude reds, indigenous grape varieties, traditions of amphora or large containers, wines sometimes more rustic in appearance but very fine when well chosen.

For a sommelier, these bottles are invaluable because they enrich a wine list without disrupting the coherence of the selection. They offer conversation, comparison, new pairings, and a genuine cultural opening, all while remaining true to the Vignerons de Nature spirit: vibrant, approachable, accessible wines made by committed individuals.
